Today not much has changed from the original mandate constituted by the membership 40 plus years ago. Our goal is to promote the use of multihull ships, vessels and boats of every description. Many of our members have been involved in building their own boats and have sailed in many parts of the world. While the majority of or members are centrally located in the lower half of BC, the BCMS stretches to north to the Queen Charlotte Islands, east to Alberta, and south to Mexico.The club has three major boating events. They usually take place in May, July and Sept. Many other social events take place as well during the year.
